IVF Calculator Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the IVF Calculator mobile application (the "App") published by Tsong Law Group ("we," "us," or "our").
This policy is specific to the App. General use of the Tsong Law Group website is covered by our website privacy policy at https://www.tsonglaw.com/privacy-policy .
1. Information We Collect
When you use the App, we may collect or receive the following categories of information:
A. Information stored locally on your device
The App stores certain information locally on your device so features work properly. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

calculator inputs such as embryo transfer date, due date, embryo type, calculation mode, and week-based inputs;

saved calculator results, including optional custom names and result snapshots;

language and theme preferences;
-
your preferred calendar selection for future calendar saves; and

a local review-prompt cooldown state so the App does not ask for an app-store review too often.
This local data is stored on your device and is not uploaded to us just because it exists in the App.
B. Information you choose to submit to us
If you use the App's contact form or newsletter signup feature, you may provide:

first name and last name;

full name;
-
email address;
-
phone number (optional);

inquiry category;
-
message content;
-
marketing/newsletter preference; and
-
language, app platform, app version, and a limited calculator snapshot included with the submission context.
These submissions are sent to Tsong Law Group's website systems for processing.
C. Calendar information
If you choose to save a date to your device calendar, the App may request calendar permission and access:

available writable calendars on your device;
-
calendar identifiers, titles, and related account labels needed to show your calendar choices; and
-
your selected calendar so the App can create the event you requested.
When you save an event, the App writes the event title, date, and notes you asked it to create to the calendar you selected. Calendar information is used for that device feature and is not sent to Tsong Law Group through normal App use.
D. Information shared using device features
If you choose to use the App's native share feature, the App prepares the saved result content you selected and passes it to the app, service, or recipient you choose through your device's share sheet.
If you tap links to our website or social media pages, your interaction with those third-party sites or apps is governed by their own privacy practices.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information collected through the App to:

provide calculator, saved-results, calendar, language, and theme features;

respond to your contact requests;

process newsletter signups and marketing opt-ins you request;

improve the App's functionality and user experience;

maintain records related to inquiries and communications; and

comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
3. What We Do Not Do
Based on the current App version, we do not:

provide cloud syncing of saved calculator data;

4. When We Share Information

With service providers and systems we use to receive submissions. Contact and newsletter submissions are transmitted through Tsong Law Group's website infrastructure and related service providers.

With your device operating system and calendar provider, at your direction. If you choose to save to calendar, your device and selected calendar service will process that event.

With apps or services you choose. If you use the native share feature, the content is shared with the destination you select.

When required by law or to protect rights and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, legal process, or professional responsibility obligations.
5. Retention
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App, or uninstall the App.
Information you submit to us through the App may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:

manage ongoing communications;

comply with legal obligations.
6. Your Choices
You can control your information in several ways:

You may choose not to submit contact or newsletter information.

You may decline calendar permission or revoke it later in your device settings.

You may stop using the App and remove locally stored App data by uninstalling the App.

7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information submitted through the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App.
9. External Links
The App may link to external websites or social platforms, including Tsong Law Group web pages and social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, apps, or services.
10. Changes to This Policy
